In Filzmoos fand am 14.01.2007 die „Nacht der Ballone“ statt. Sie ist eine der spektakulären Auftaktveranstaltungen der 28. Internationale GRIZZLY GAS Heißluftballonwoche (vom 13. bis 20. Januar 2007) mit mehr als 40 Heißluftballonen. Einen Besuch war das allemal Wert: Die Ballone „tanzten“ u.a. zur Carmina Burana … Am Schluss gab es auch noch ein tolles Feuerwerk.
