The „Stripes“ of Mojácar Beach

| Keine Kommentare

„Mojácar Beach“ (which is different from „Mojácar Pueblo“, a pittoresque „white village“) is built in the following way: A stripe of sandy beach (some 10 kms long) is followed by the area of the „Chiringuitas“ (beach bars offering drinks, tapas and full menues, some of them even with live music or video presentations). The next stripe is the sea promenade, followed by the street. Next there is a stripe of shops, bars and restaurants, followed by a stripe of houses and smaller hotels(some of them – like ours – grouped around communal pools in settlements). The last stripe is simply desert (in our case the Sierra Cabrera, yet offering wonderful jogging areas in form of the dry river valleys, the so called „Ramblas“ – if you start early: at 9 am it is too hot!).

This time my photos show Mojácar pueblo (taken on one of my safaris when a wasp stang me in the neck) and „dos chicas“ (two girls) chilling out in one the Chiringuitos near the house. There is more to come …
